We often look for inspiration outside ourselves. We admire artists, writers, musicians, entrepreneurs, spiritual teachers, and people who seem to live extraordinary lives. We call them our muses.
But what if one of the most important muses of your life is you?
To become a muse to yourself means looking inward and asking: What has been placed inside me? What are my natural talents? What makes my heart come alive? What do I feel called to create?
I believe we were created by a Creator who is endlessly creative.
Look at this planet: the oceans, mountains, flowers, animals, colors, human faces, emotions, and the incredible diversity of life. Creation is everywhere around us.
Perhaps creativity is one of the ways we remain connected with the Creator.
When we are connected with ourselves, we begin to feel the invisible flow of life more clearly. People appear unexpectedly. Ideas arrive seemingly from nowhere. One meeting changes our direction. One intuitive decision opens an entirely new reality.
Some call it coincidence. Some call it synchronicity. Some say we are flowing with the Universe.
For me, it is all part of creation.
When I create, I try not to begin with what the world expects from me. I listen to what already exists inside me.
What was I created to express?
What are the gifts that belong specifically to me?
What wants to come through my hands, my voice, my heart and imagination?
The more I listen, the more I understand that creativity is not only about making beautiful things. It is about creating your life: a loving life, a meaningful life, a life in which your soul is allowed to breathe.
For me, this creative journey became deeply connected with Larimar.
Larimar is more than a stone in my life. It is my muse, my love and, in many ways, my life.
That is why my brand is called LARIMARITA.
LARIMARITA is an expression of my creativity, my mindset, my spiritual journey and the world I feel inspired to create around this extraordinary blue stone.
I love every shade of Larimar. I love imagining jewelry, bracelets and necklaces, discovering forms hidden within natural stones and encouraging artisans to create something unique instead of repeating the same designs endlessly.
Every Larimar is different. Why should its expression be ordinary?
Sometimes I see a shape, movement or personality inside a stone, and I want the final creation to respect what nature has already begun.
But Larimar inspires me far beyond jewelry.
It leads me into music, sound healing, crystal bowls, drumming, meditation, the sea, spiritual work — and now also into writing a book about Larimar. Through writing, I can explore its story, its meaning, my personal journey with the stone, and the knowledge and inspiration I have gathered through living close to its source.
To me, Larimar is a stone of the soul. It reminds me to listen to my higher self and continue discovering who I can become.
I am deeply grateful that I found this muse in the Dominican Republic.
And perhaps, through finding Larimar here, I also found another version of myself.
I learned to become my own muse.
If my creations, my writing, or my story inspire others, I am grateful. But the first responsibility is to create a life that inspires me to wake up every morning. To live fully. To keep growing. To surround myself with something that elevates me and to contribute beauty even in places that are still developing and discovering their own potential.
A muse should awaken creation.
And I believe every human being has that possibility.
You do not have to become a painter or musician. You can create a business, a garden, a family, a healing practice, a book, a home, a piece of jewelry, or an entirely new way of living.
Even money, in my eyes, should serve this creative process. It is not the purpose of life, but a tool that can give us freedom to create, develop ideas, support others and bring visions into reality.
The real treasure is what we create with our lives.
So stop waiting for someone else to inspire yours.
Look within.
Listen to your heart.
Discover what the Creator placed inside you.
And create something beautiful with it.

THE COURAGE TO CREATE YOUR OWN PATH
Becoming your own muse also requires courage. Inspiration is beautiful, but creation asks something more from us: the willingness to trust what we feel before the rest of the world understands it.
There will always be voices telling us what is practical, fashionable, profitable or expected. There will always be trends to follow and definitions of success created by someone else. But the most meaningful creations rarely begin with imitation. They begin with a quiet inner knowing — a feeling that something deserves to exist simply because it feels true to us.
This is something Larimar continues to teach me.
No two stones need to compete with each other. Each carries its own pattern, color, movement and character. Its beauty comes precisely from the fact that nature did not make another one exactly the same.
Perhaps people are not so different.
We spend so much time comparing our journeys that we sometimes forget to discover our own design. We ask whether we are successful enough, visible enough or moving quickly enough. Yet creation has its own timing. Some ideas need silence before they are ready to become visible.
I want LARIMARITA to carry this philosophy: that beauty can have meaning, luxury can have soul, and creativity can become a bridge between nature, craftsmanship and personal transformation.
Ultimately, being your own muse is not about believing you have finished becoming who you are.
It is about remaining curious about who you might still become.
Keep listening. Keep exploring. Keep creating.
Sometimes the next source of inspiration is already waiting inside you.
