Jake Leal: Ever since I was eight, working to help my family, I knew there was something more out there for me. Growing up in the Bahian countryside, I dreamed of becoming an actress or even a mayor. But reality seemed to keep those dreams at bay. Then, life took an unexpected turn. A chance to participate in Big Brother Brasil opened doors I never thought possible. Though I had never watched the show, I applied and was selected. Moving to São Paulo, I hoped to pursue acting, but soon realized my true passion lay elsewhere. Instagram became my tool for transformation. I started with simple videos showcasing my daily life, focusing on sports and a healthy lifestyle. During the pandemic, my travels to remote places revealed a new purpose. With the launch of the JakStar brand, I found my true calling in the world of tourism.

Jake Leal: I believe the destination chooses me! The energy of Atacama has been calling to me for a while. After discovering the work of FláviaBia, a Brazilian who revolutionized Atacama tourism with her gastronomic tours, I knew it was the place I needed to visit. The energy of the desert drew me in an inexplicable way.
