In the ever-evolving world of fashion, where fleeting trends dominate the headlines, there are rare designers who dare to slow down the pace and return to the roots of true craftsmanship. Maryna Mazarine is one such visionary. As the founder and creative director of MAZARINE, she has carved a niche for herself with her distinctive approach—merging classic tailoring, sustainable values, and a deep respect for the art of living beautifully.
From her first linen capsule collection in Dubai to a growing international presence spanning Monaco, Cannes, Sanya, and Singapore, Maryna’s journey reflects not just a brand evolution, but a philosophy—fashion as a language of elegance, individuality, and quiet strength.
In this exclusive conversation with Monaco Muse, Maryna shares her creative inspirations, her vision for bespoke luxury, and what’s next for the brand that has redefined modern elegance.
MM: Maryna, you’ve built a brand that merges classic tailoring with a modern sense of elegance. What sparked the beginning of MAZARINE?
Maryna Mazarine: It began with a linen capsule collection I designed in Dubai in 2021. I wanted to create something light, effortless, but powerful—pieces that women could wear with confidence, whether barefoot on a yacht or entering a boardroom. The response was overwhelming. From there, MAZARINE evolved into a full-fledged atelier, with a focus on bespoke, sustainable, and emotion-driven fashion. Each piece became not just a garment, but a story. A celebration of individuality.
MM: Your brand carries the tagline “a tribute to the art of living beautifully.” How do you define that phrase?
Maryna Mazarine: It’s about intention. To live beautifully is to choose quality over quantity. To create space for grace in the everyday. MAZARINE is built on this philosophy—every design is meant to enhance how a woman feels in her body and in her life. It’s fashion that allows her to express strength quietly, elegantly.
MM: You now have a global presence. How do these international locations influence your creative process?
Maryna Mazarine: Immensely. Each city teaches me something different. Dubai, where our atelier and showroom are based, offers bold vision and multicultural energy—it’s where tradition meets innovation. Monaco and Cannes embody timeless European refinement; the women there appreciate the poetry in precision and the power of understatement.
In Sanya, China—through our presence at luxury hotels like Atlantis, Rosewood, Park Hyatt, Raffles, and Edition—I’ve learned the beauty of softness, flow, and serenity. There’s a sensual elegance in how women dress there that has influenced the cuts and textures we use.
And now with Singapore—our latest addition via Resorts World Sentosa—we’re absorbing a cosmopolitan minimalism and sense of forward-thinking design.
Each place is a thread. Together, they form the global fabric of MAZARINE.
MM: MAZARINE is known for its bespoke approach. What does “custom” mean in a world obsessed with speed?
Maryna Mazarine: Custom, to me, is the ultimate luxury—time, attention, and emotion sewn into every seam. In a world rushing toward trend cycles and mass production, I wanted to return to the roots of true craftsmanship. Whether it’s a bespoke bridal gown, a capsule wardrobe for a yacht trip, or uniforms for a luxury clinic, we work intimately with the client to create something that feels like a second skin—flawless, personal, and purposeful.
MM: Who is the MAZARINE woman?
Maryna Mazarine: She’s confident without being loud. She’s refined but effortlessly sensual. She values discretion, beauty, and legacy. I design for the woman who commands the room with presence, not noise. She doesn’t follow trends—she curates her world. And she invests in pieces that are timeless, versatile, and crafted with care.
MM: You also produce for other brands. Tell us about that side of the business.
Maryna Mazarine: Yes—we offer high-end apparel production for emerging designers and luxury venues. That includes everything from pattern development to sampling to full collection execution. We also design and manufacture uniforms for premium locations like aesthetic clinics, five-star resorts, and gourmet restaurants. It allows us to collaborate, support new visionaries, and keep craftsmanship alive.
MM: What’s next for MAZARINE?
Maryna Mazarine: We’re expanding our concept of tailored capsule sets—complete wardrobes for milestone occasions like weddings, Mediterranean escapes, or exclusive events. Think of it as a luxury wardrobe concierge service. We’re also exploring new markets in the Middle East and Europe. The goal is to grow thoughtfully while staying rooted in the values that define us: elegance, intention, and quality.
MM: Lastly, what message would you like to share with your audience?
Maryna Mazarine: Wear less. Choose better. Dress for the moments that matter—and make them beautiful. True luxury isn’t about having more. It’s about having meaning in what you choose to keep close to your skin.
