Monaco has announced a new requirement for all civil companies registered in its Special Register of Civil Companies: an annual declaration confirming their continued activity. This new regulation takes effect immediately.
Civil companies must submit this declaration in the month following the anniversary of their registration. Additionally, they must verify and confirm their registration details, regardless of any modifications made during the year.
The necessary form for this declaration can be obtained and submitted online through the My Business portal, which is available 24/7 under the Legal Obligations tab. Alternatively, companies can acquire the form in person at the Economic Development Department. Completed forms must be submitted in duplicate to the Directory Service of Commerce and Industry, along with the applicable registration fees: 25 euros for a private civil company and 50 euros for a public limited civil company.
This new requirement underscores Monaco’s commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of its registered civil companies.
