Gail’s foray into modeling began in 1966 with a contest for Seventeen Magazine. Although she didn’t win, she became a semi-finalist and modeled on weekends for Martin’s Department Store, receiving their Outstanding Teenage Achievement Award. Her life took a significant turn after winning Ms. New York Senior America and the national title of Ms. Senior America in 2009. This victory propelled her into a role as a motivational speaker, where she shared her powerful story of overcoming breast cancer at 25.
